Winn Hill

Meet at Saxilby Village hall car park 8am.
We drive to Thornhill car park near Ladybower Reservoir then walk up to Winn Hill then gently down to Hope. Cross Hagglee ford, We then follow the shores of Ladybower around to Dam, then gradually up to car park
15km 446m Ascent
Very good paths will spectacular views
Time 4.30 hours

General information: -

We meet in the village hall car park to share cars and set off from there at a suitable time, between 0730 and 0930, depending on travel distance to start.  We return at approximately 4.30pm onwards.  We take a packed lunch which we eat on the walk. We do not go fast and always try to take in what is going on around us.

Usually, we walk a distance of around 9 -12 miles, and would welcome suggestions from anyone interested for future walks.

If possible, the next date is advertised at the monthly meeting.
