Christmas Party - 18th December 2025
It will be held at the Village Hall.
Tickets will be available from the November monthly meeting at a cost of £10.
Doors open at 10am. Please do not arrive early as you will not be allowed in, which gives the committee time to set up the party.
The party will finish at 2.45pm.
Saturday 19 July 2025 came and went
Everyone had a fab time
Even the weather couldn’t dampen the U3A members spirits at our Summer Party on 19th July. We all enjoyed good food, plentiful drinks and great company. We laughed with friends, joined in with the music, and enjoyed a picture quiz, where we had to identify a landmark and where we were. Some people were better than others, and it was surprising how many didn’t guess Saxilby Church!
We were entertained by a magician known as MIKE THE MAGICIAN who went around all the tables, baffling everyone with his tricks. We had a few laughs looking at committee members photos and trying to match them with their baby photos, not often correctly!
After a generous buffet and tempting desserts, the hamper was won and lots of raffle prizes, then sadly the afternoon seemed to be over far too quickly. Many people said they had a thoroughly good afternoon and complemented the food and said how impressed they were by Mike the Magician, so it seems everyone had a good time. Yes, it was a shame to not be able to be outside with sunshine and space, but we were all too busy enjoying ourselves to bother.
So “Cheers, and Good Health “and hopefully the sun will shine for us next year.
